Noise’s First Smart Ring – Luna Ring

Luna Ring, a new wearable device by Noise India, is a smart ring that monitors your health 24/7. It tracks sleep metrics, heart health, activity data, and helps you understand your readiness and stress levels.
The Luna Ring is designed with a hypoallergenic smooth interior and a pointing edge on the outer wall to guide the user. The outer ring of the Luna Ring is constructed from aircraft-grade titanium alloy with a corrosion- and scratch-resistant Diamond-Like-Coating (DLC), while the inner ring is made from a skin-friendly, hypoallergenic material. The Luna Ring is available in a total of 5 colorsBright Gold, Rose Gold, Silver, Light Black, and Dark Black, in sizes 6-12, one less size 13 than Oura, with a thickness of 2.8mm and a weight of 3-4 grams.
For charging options, the Luna Ring also uses wireless charging to charge the ring, which needs to be placed on a docking station. The battery life is 5 days.

Main Function
Sensors built into the ring Optical Heart Rate Sensor, Red LED (Blood Oxygen Sensor, PPG) Sensor, Skin Temperature Sensor, 3-Axis Accelerometer Noise claims that the Luna Ring can track over 70 biometric signals.

For health monitoring, it has partnered with All is Well (a renowned sports science app that works with elite athletes and cricketers) to rigorously validate the Luna Ring’s accuracy on different metrics. Its performance in measuring heart rate, heart rate variability and steps consistently exceeded the 98% accuracy threshold.

Luna Ring uses advanced algorithms developed in collaboration with Philips Biosensing to provide accurate information on heart rate, skin temperature and blood oxygen.

According to a press statement from the launch, Luna Ring utilizes an opto-mechanical design that combines 3 LEDs and 2 PDs with mechanical components (3 bumps) to ensure that the optical sensors are properly aligned with the user’s fingers. They reduce the gap between the skin and the sensor, optimizing the accuracy of the PPG signal sensor readings. This design feature also improves the consistency and accuracy of the measurements, providing users with more reliable data about their overall health.
